Did do a few bits online. Took some shoes back to Halfords but they wouldnt let me in to try any on so figured I'd wait a few weeks.

1. Primark are pretty much the cheapest clothing store out there, and many people rely on that.
2. They probably thought that by getting there early they would beat the queues, or at least get stock before it runs out.

Agree there will some people doing essential returns and stuff but there will definitely be lots of pointless pottering going on.
I couldn't think of anything worse than going shopping as a leisure activity, now more than ever. I will have to go to TK Maxx at some point in the next month or so but will go 20 minutes before it closes out of Town. |  |

Unless people are turning up to these stores commando/in weather inappropriate clothing/shredded clothing/semi naked then I really do not understand their motivation for clothes shopping right now.
I also cannot get my head around camping outside the f*cking store and their failure to observe the 2 metre guidance.
