Where did I say that he deserved a yellow and didn't get the ball?
No I didn't but he did charge in from behind and in the process he injured himself and the MK player, tacking from behind is and of itself always going to invite a yellow. | |

Completely right. I saw it as a good tackle and the sort of tracking back we needed in the middle. Everyone thought he won the ball and it was a harsh yellow. The slide looked innocuous to jar his knee so hopefully not too bad. |  |

IIRC didn’t Sears do something similar when he did his ACL at Norwich? Went in for a slightly innocuous looking challenge, little bit of treatment, tried to run it off and then eventually came off? We all know how that one ended! |  | | |

Yup, it looked like ACL to me (I'm minus one functioning ACL myself), but fingers crossed that it was strained medial ligaments and only 6 weeks out or so. [Post edited 4 Oct 2020 7:22]
