He is. But a bit daft, really. Voting stopped last night. What he wants is for counting to stop while he's still ahead. Elections don't work like that (in most reputable countries).

Presuambly because if the postal votes were known before polling, they'd argue it would encourage voters to vote for the guy already in the lead as Americans don't back losers etc.

Insome states they’ll count postal votes with a postmark up to the date of the election, so there won’t be a declaration everywhere for another three days.
