In McGuiness’ defence, whoever gave the ball away with Ward so far up the pitch should be held equally responsible. Criminal giving the ball away there, the left back slot was so exposed even though we had shuffled over to fill the gap. Clumsy from McGuiness for sure though.

Ifollow showed 2 replays ,i can tell you as Shrew attacker came inside our defender, think it was McGuiness, stepped back to avoid contact , clear daylight between the pair of them as attacker threw himself to the ground . Live it looked like a Penalty but the Ref had a good view and to his credit was not fooled ! | | | |
