Shame. Doing a super job at Everton

Do you think he knows anything about big clubs though. He’s never mentioned it has he?

Like him as a quality manager. Always happy to have the better managers in England. And yes, I’m bored!

I like him too, was surprised Arsenal didn't get him when they took Arteta, but he definitely has not done a 'super' job at Everton, very underwhelming i'd say.

One of the great things about this place is that anything and everything can crop up. Thankfully it’s not restricted to only ITFC topics otherwise the last 15+ years would have been really grim and Phil would have a forum of about a dozen people.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Get a grip mate!!

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

I'd go for Nuno if I were them..... read he's close to getting the palace job so maybe Eddie Howe.... Cooper being linked with every possible opening too.

This feels short sighted of Real.... Ancelotti is a great manager but perhaps not the forward thinking long term option they need to rebuild that squad.

Not sure he did that great a job.

Spent a fair bit of money, and transfer strategy seemed a bit basic.

I do like the bloke though.

Indeed. £11m a season to stagnate a club.

That does not sound a lot in terms of Premier League budgets.

That’s his salary, not what they spent.

He spent £75m last summer, and sold barely anyone.

I could see Eddie Howe there. Seems their sort of manager - quietly gets on with the job, good tactician, passing football, etc. I
