Get a result at Charlton in a couple of weeks time and we'll start to dare to believe again.
I do feel people are going in a bit strong, a bit early, and it's a shame it's accentuated by a need to be right from all angles because things get blurred.
Of course if we win 3 from 5 [league] coming up this month attitudes will change, but equally it has to be asked if we fall short again at what point is too late?
Sure, if we were to agree this season isn't the be-all and end-all then ok, but man, the longer we linger down here, the more credibility is lost, the less chance of hanging on to good players/attracting more...

Exactly. Did you go to the game? Cook was bang up for it and focussed. He put everything into it. The players did not. It’s not always automatically the manager, they’re not playing and can only do so much. What did that fan want him to do differently? I’m pretty sure he didn’t say “great first half lads, don’t bother turning up for the second because you’ve already won.” I’m not in the ‘Cook in’ camp either by the way, just going on what I saw tonight.
