People just don't care. In fact, I suspect they quite like it really.

It will only be the 1922 who finally get rid of 'boris' once he's taken enough flak for restrictions and generally being a massive tw@t before he's replaced.

And then we get someone like Liz Truss in charge.

Rule Britannia!

When, oh when, will daveU ever grace us with a post?! He's TWTD's biggest secret and yet we've never heard from the man himself!

Will it be this year? Let's hope so :)

Sunak seems to be the favourite.

I’d throw in Nadhim Zahawi as an outside bet. Seems very confident and competent. Well liked on the Labour benches from what I’ve read.

Sky now saying the leak is from within Downing Street to use Reynolds as the fall guy.

Boris can then come along and tut and sack Reynolds of course…

The bloated buffoon has been finished for some while. The problem is no ones wants to ta take over, given what is coming down the line.

That talk is now of inflation hitting 7%, with the cost of energy/fuel and food ever rising. NI won't be hugely noticed, but it will be another straw to add to the camels back. Brexit is slowly taking small bites out of the UK economy, while the labour shortage is going to continue.

And there's not much among the current cabinet who could, even if they wanted to, step up. The Tories might box clever and vote in Liz Truss, whose incompetence and gaffes are legendary, so as to lumber her with the blame. She's not too bright so would most likely not see it as a poisoned chalice.

Johnson will go down as the worst PM in living (and before) memory. With the problem being that once out of office people tend to feel they can then openly say stuff. And being an habitual liar doesn't suggest the cupboard will be bare of skeletons.

I’d sack Reynolds for making up a classification status if nothing else.

The Cummings take on this is a little odd.

The party I was at was not a party. The parties I wasn’t at were parties. The prime minister should’ve listened to me. This blog is a couple of weeks late because I was trying to work out how I could say I was at a party that wasn’t a party. I should be appointed benevolent dictator.

IIRC misuse and abuse of the classification system is a disciplinary offence.

I know of people sacked for doing so.

It is not always wise to allow the full term to run - though the damage coming down the line will take some while to clear up so they may have to hang on for a bit.

I doubt Sunak wants it now

Younger generations have not seen inflation at that level - it was last seen around 30 years ago as Lawsons reckless budget played out in 90-93, and we saw in September '92 under Major, interest rates briefly hit 12%
before falling back to 10%.

It maybe a while back, but Majors government was tarnished with accusations of incompetence - something Sunak will not want to face as PM.

They will not be able to keep the bloated buffoon on beyond the May elections (assuming he has not gone before then, so who is dim enough to step forward

Cummings is a proper fruit loop. He might even escape the wall when the revolution comes as we'll take pity on the mentally infirm.
