This is one of my big fears for our supporter base. Now that we've got financial backing, expecting big fees to be paid and that equalling quality.
When we were relegated we were said to have easily the best squad in the league and promotion would be a formality, same with Sunderland when they came down, same with Sheff Wed, it'll be the same with Derby given who they are signing.
None of the above went well, in this league you get in players who can cope with the sh^thousery that you find here, and players who can compete at this level. Its not the fee, its identifying the player. |  |

We do badly need a striker. Lopada isnt the answer on his own. MK must realise Jackson wont turn from a 5 goal a season striker to 20+.And if his hamstring goes after a couple of games we really are toothless. Cant rely on the kid from Arsenal, who is still injured anyway. Plus we have a new left back who has come back from a bad injury, add that to Keith Davis who we want from Leeds who was injured most of the season and you have a problem.
