So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? 17:32 - Oct 1 with 2258 views | ArnieM | Absolutely NOTNING!! They had TWO shots on goal - both from the penalty card if yet another abysmal ref. 3 points to the football team and exactly what we’ve deserved m. I can’t believe Portsmouth are where there are in this division. MID-TABLE finish for them. Well done Town and well done the fans , bloody awesome atmosphere at times today. Let’s see what excuses S hit face Cowley comes up with . The Utter to ss a

So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 17:35 - Oct 1 with 2199 views | bournemouthblue | They score goals clearly but look bang average in midfield and defence I guess their creativity comes from the wings and Pack but they look pretty rigid, which will work up to a point but they'll struggle to mix it with the better sides

So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 17:44 - Oct 1 with 2088 views | mjw_1983 | To be fair, they also had a free kick from 35 yards which marlon pack hit in the middle at Walton
So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 17:45 - Oct 1 with 2048 views | billlm | They will do ok top sixish, they offered nothing up front over 90 minutes, could have been 3 4 5 -. O nothing long term to worry about, solid 442 no enterprise or endeavour, typical Cowley,
So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 17:47 - Oct 1 with 2017 views | Kropotkin123 | Owen Dale looked good. You could see how he put together an 11 goal season for Crewe. But Davis (MOTM?) dealt with him well.

So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 17:51 - Oct 1 with 1970 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | They won't be mid table they essentially wanted the entire game to play out like the first 15 minutes of the second half. It was a negative performance but teams will respect us for sure. Our pressure was fantastic and we had a lot of space wide against a back 4. So pleased we won as had family over from New Orleans for the game (and saints tomorrow) although I couldn't make it unfortunately.

So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 18:30 - Oct 1 with 1802 views | GeoffSentence | They did have another one, comfortable save for Walton early in the second half, but that was it. They were pretty toothless.

He looked alright, albeit incredibly lucky not to pick up a booking after continual fouling and two pretty naughty ones on both Davis and Morsy

One of which he laughed at after the ref gave him just another talking to, when should’ve been a yellow, and he knew he’d got away with it.

The one on Morsy was particularly nasty, the one on Davis I can see why he might have let it go, given Davis had got him slightly earlier on

So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 20:17 - Oct 1 with 1363 views | itfcsuth | I suppose they are organised as you could see how compact their 4-4-2 was straight from the start. Very narrow and tight, only held the width of the 18 yard box in defensive shape. However, on the ball they looked a really poor side, no real creativity, lacked quality on the ball. They came for a point today, simple as that. Presume they set up differently against other sides and not offer more to the game.
So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 20:20 - Oct 1 with 1349 views | Nthsuffolkblue | We kept Bishop, Scarlet and Curtis (once he came on) quiet and that is credit to us. Clearly, they badly missed their Harry Kane option in Piggot.

So what, exactly, did Pompey offer ? on 20:35 - Oct 1 with 1296 views | clive_baker | Nowhere near in the league of Sheff Wed or Plymouth, they’re really good sides who want to play football. Pompey are a very Cowley team, they’ll be in the top 8 but I can’t see them going up.

Thought he was lucky to still be on the pitch. Cannot understand why he didn’t pick up at least one card.

Let's hope he stays there because, under a different manager, I think Portsmouth could become a real threat with the players they have.

I missed today, so can’t comment on Pompey but I though Plymouth were very good. A real footballing side and if they keep that up I’ll be surprised if they don’t go up with us.

He was very late on Burns having already made a couple of fouls and the ref just spoke to him. He then continued to foul regularly, and the ref spoke to him about persistent fouling and still didn't book him. Evans made a strong challenge on him and that seemed to quieten him down a bit although he still left one on Morsy too. Perhaps, had the referee booked him he would have tempered it, but he was allowed to carry on by an inconsistent and weak ref.

I thought he was a cheating clobber of a third division thug. Shame cos he's obviously a good footballer. I'd say amazing he didn't get at least one yellow but this is the third division and refs are sooo bad. Maybe these idiots find their level. Cowley won't mind. Nuff said. Fook off Pompey/Cowley.
