Yeah, Hirst was the first choice and Ladapo the back-up in the summer. Great to see us have both now. I think Freddie could really go at it know he could/would be off ~60, which meant he could impact their backline more. The only issue with Hirst is my auto-correct keeps changing it to Hurst. At some point I'll get pulled up!

Ladapo on 17:08 - Jan 14 with 1710 views | acj | Thought Freddie played really well, but his failure to pass when he could have played in Burns or laid it across for Chaplin has ultimately cost us the win today.

Similar when Chaplin was in space in the box...if Chaplin is in space in the box, you just give it to Chaplin.

It's the great dilemma. We definitely play better with him on the pitch. It's not the first time we've missed him when he's come off (including the away match in Plymouth). But then he can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo and wastes most of our hard-earned opportunities. I didn't like us lumping it up to Hirst - horrible stuff that just invited pressure straight back onto us. I know Hirst's huge, but we have to trust to the style that's done us well and keep playing football.

Yep, would also like to see Broadhead, I can’t believe we’ve signed another crocked player. Ladapo works hard and really holds the ball up lovely, but he is abysmal at finishing and he doesn’t have the ability to work a ball in for other people either, we need more from a 9, he simply isn’t good enough. Agreed. It was really notable how the momentum of the game stalled and shifted in their favour when he went of. I thought his hold up play and movement gave them lots of problems. Should have been less selfish in a few situations but him Morsy, Chaplin and Wolfenden were decent today.
Ladapo on 18:56 - Jan 14 with 1306 views | ThisIsMyUsername | He needs about 5 games' worth of getting into good positions and chances in order to score one goal or pick one correct pass.

Yeah, I think in the back of his mind he thinks his position up front is in threat by Hirst coming so needs to score probably.
