Movie trailers too,but they come under adverts..I have always had a passing interest in American Football since the mid 80's ... heck i just remembered I played it too ..but the Super Bowl has been a constant for me..it's the event rather or as well as the sport but even that can be amazing.
My activities when it's on differ depending on which side of the Atlantic i am over the years but tonight it'll be ribs at TGI's in the ex-pat/business district to get the atmosphere from the Americaners. | |

Rubbish. The NFL is very popular throughout the world, & we host three games here each year (all sold out), one in Germany ( also sold out), & one in Mexico ( guess what also sold out). It’s a great game, I personally love & have followed it since the early years on Channel Four back in the 1980’s. I also lived in the US for two years where I watched a few games.
These days I follow my team every Sunday night during the season, but struggle to get interested in the play offs if we are not there. |  | | |

Funnily enough I much prefer the play off games which are largely superb - especially in the AFC in recent years. The super bowl is often a damp squib. If you grew up near Bentwaters and Woodbridge back in the day when they were USAF air bases it was difficult not to get drawn into US sports - though they didn’t get much media coverage at the time.
Logic suggests the Eagles defence will grind the Chiefs down - especially as half their ‘offensé are carrying injuries. | |
