You may have taken my post a little more seriously/literally than I had intended. But yes, they're one of the clubs/fanbases I tend to dislike by default. Do you not have any of those?

Two of my closest chums are from that part of world. Another good chum is a mackem - I try and keep them apart! I also get on well with Yorkshire people too. The Welsh, Scots, brummies, Mancunians, weirdo’s from Bristol, Devonians, Cockneys, Kent people, scousers, Norfolk people, Hampshire inbreds, Wiltshire peculiars, Lincolnshire and the rest - #£&k ‘em 😃. Only joking! [Post edited 27 Feb 2023 11:00]

I've a couple of mates from the Northeast. Top fellas. OBVIOUSLY I'm not suggesting that I hate everyone from one part of the world or because of their allegiance to a football team - remarkable that I have to clarify that on here, has it become that fractious recently? Sigh.

A lot of miserable, hungover Geordies... on 11:16 - Feb 27 with 2886 views | LankHenners | Yes very annoying club/fanbase. Think that football is somehow more important and special to them than any other club in the country and believe they have a divine right to 'be where they belong' which is somewhere they've barely been in their history. Of course much easier to dislike them now that they're a front for a sports washing campaign.

Not so keen on Newcastle now they're in the Saudi pocket. Eddie Howe (good manager though he may be) is also an insufferable, weasly little Christian Horner tribute act.

I do. West Ham. Ugly in every way. Closely followed by Chelsea. Both have a misplaced sense of entitlement.
A lot of miserable, hungover Geordies... on 13:08 - Feb 27 with 2233 views | Pendejo | My experience of Newcastle fans I think is the most extreme of any other clubs fans I've ever met. From the psychos who attacked 2 friends and myself at Carrot Road in 85, although there supporting Newcastle 'cos we weren't wearing colours (they all had pin badges). To the guys that took us to a Labour club before the game in 94/95 when they had 20+ attempts on goal and we equalised in 94th (?) Minute thru Claus Thomsen. These folks also made sure we got to our car safely, when things got nasty, afterwards. Huge fans base, 60 odd years since last trophy v owned by Saudisr Oh and they were playing Manure... For me wish Newcastle had won.

I was at the game where Santa Claus Thomsen equalised late on too, which goes a long way towards explaining why I have disliked Newcastle ever since. As I recall it looked like we were being given a cordon of police horses away from the baying natives, but the line of horses stopped at about 4 and we were in the middle of them and just had to leg it as quickly as possible, ducking flying fists and boots as best we could until we got to the Newcastle Uni student union bar. Loveable geordies, my à rse.

You might not say that if you remembered many of their fans giving SBR grief & wanting him sacked cos they were "only" about 5th* in the Prem at the time (*can't remember exactly). Ungrateful ignoramuses some of them.
