Still 1 point above the drop zone so still every chance we might play them in the Championship next season.

nodge must be hoping for the same for Millwall or Blackburn.

They were docked 6 points last season and survived.

After a great start to the season, they've been on an awful run of late, just 2 league wins this year.

Doesn't look good.

And no-one deserves relegation more!

RIP Sir Bobby

Reading are dreadful - but Blackpool, Wigan and Hudds are even worse, so Reading may survive by default.

Let’s hope. I live 15 miles from Reading and hope to see Towen play there in the Championship next season.

I want them to stay up, purely so we can smash them next year home and away, redemption for our years of being inadequate under Evans.

Wigan, Blackpool, Huddersfield and Cardiff have all picked up more points than Reading over the past 5 games.

Hudds under Warnock are showing signs of life. Mick is running out of games at Blackpool. Official retirement for him can’t be far away.

Yep. My mate is Hudds and having a terrible time so the prospect of getting pissed together at a game is one I really want to come true.

Mick seems to have gone in a month too late, in a club too messed up to do it.

Plus we are in severe danger of having barely any Northern away days next season atm. This cannot be allowed to happen.

It might not be all doom and gloom for your Huddersfield Town mate, they’ve won their last 3 games.

As much as I enjoy Loft for Words I'm hoping that the clubs at the foot catch them and QPR go down.

A Mick McCarthy side being relegated whilst we are promoted would have an interesting symmetry to it, the fabric of the universe could be realigning

As others have said, it's about time Norwich's bubble bursts and return to being the dominant club

Being a southerner, I’m looking forward to being able to watch Ipswich play away at Saints and Bournemouth in the Championship next season.

I only hope they go down if we go up. It's unreasonable to expect any football fan to have to visit Reading - my worse, most soulless away day in England. It's even worse than Stoke, and that's saying something.

I like a drop of the old QPR away, great fixture.

Hope they stay up an its a championship game next season, although their form is shocking 2 wins in the last 24.

Oh and your right, the bloke who writes the match review is hilarious..

You get some great atmosphere in that away stand with the low roof. Proper old school day out that is.

I went to the 5-1 at their place in 2015. Never been tempted back, surprisingly...

Best one I can remember December 2004 . Won 4-2 I belive, Darren Currie scored on his debut. Police escort from the Irish pub on the corner of Shepherds Bush Green, got us to the ground 20 minutes after kiick off. Missed our first goal (Linighan?) Top day out. Anyone remember it?

I quite agree. I used to enjoy going to Elm Park, the old Reading ground, although it always seemed to be one dropped fag end away from the wooden stands catching fire.
