If you get a chance to see that one from the closer angle, you can see the defender raises his leg in an attempt to foul him. I would want to see it again as to whether that makes much difference or whether he runs into the body anyway, though. |  |

Thought today's ref was pretty good. Let quite a lot go, and tried to keep the game flowing.
One thing that annoyed me, but it's more a dig at last week's ref..Today, before we went ahead, oppo were taking their time on throw ins and goal kicks. We had Clarke and Walton booked for taking nowhere near as long, at Derby.. It's a bit pot luck with refs in this league. But the inconsistency is frustrating at times.. And at the back of your mind. You know that your team can play perfectly, but be undone by a poor decision, at a crucial time...Hopefully we've had our quota of dodgy ones already,this season. |  | | |
