Didn't make a matchday squad post Bristol Rovers so think it is still a big surprise considering we were naming 4 forwards on the bench in each game.

Guess it will depend on what Aluko wants to do too as to whether he accepts the offer. He's not stupid, if he's here to offer a bit of maturity and experience in what is a young group, play in the cups etc and provide some depth then that's fine, but if he wants to be starting a decent chunk of games in what might be his final season in the game then he'll know it's highly unlikely to happen with us. |  |

He comes across as pretty low maintenance and professional.. I'd argue that if hes looking to go into some kind of coaching/ analytical role, then he's around some good people atm.. I like Aluko, think hes an all round good egg. And when has played, hes been quite useful. Notably against Championship oppo' in The Cup.

Makes sense all round doesn't it. If he had to call on him if have no issue, he's still got the silk even if he's a bit slower but a really useful squad member with a lot of knowledge to impart |  |
