Almost two hours after I first checked into the BBC News live, just checked in again and they're got a running loop of the same pictures, a bit of extra footage and don't seem to know much more other than it wasn't terror related.

Probably by pressing down on the accelerator and using the steering wheel to aim.
Although having now seen the report, it doesn’t look like he was pressing down on the accelerator, so the BBC are being generous in their use of the word ‘crash’. I suppose it sounds more dramatic than ‘slowed down and gently nudged’.
It’s hardly Guy Fawkes. We can’t even attack our political institutions properly any more. The country’s gone to the dogs, etc.

Our supposed national broadcaster can’t even speak t’King’s English proper any more - they continually mistakenly used the word “migration” when they meant ’immigration’ in their 6pm R4 news.

Up till not long-ago, the BBC had announcers and newsreaders who spoke with a refined English voice, wore bowties and such like and were from a certain class.
Sadly all we get now is programmes by the 'lower orders' featuring gardening, decorating rooms, cookery and such like
