Very harsh. Nothing really went their way today and they still could have nicked it with Connell's chance. Wednesday bang average but they kept going. Not sure they'll get quite such generous refereeing in the Championship.

The one poor clearance from their back line all game. Really harsh on them - deserved at least to take it to pens.

They've been done over big time by the officials today overall - they started the 2nd half much the better team and with 11v11 think they'd have been favourites to get a goal in normal time.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Disgraceful. Simple as.

Clear penalty, and never ever been a red card. Barnsley should feel very hard done by.

Sheff Wed awful as well. Really poor

They were brilliant after they went down to 10, deserved to win I'd say. Wednesday offered nothing. Plus windass's victory interview was the least gracious thing I've ever heard. Pr1ck

Just finished watching the game on replay, Whilst I appreciate playing with 10 men can be difficult sometimes, duff immediately said 5 2 2, went defensive, invited wednesday on, and that Russell fella he brought on was bloody awful. No idea how often he's been used this season but christ he was rubbish.

Wednesday deserved that you have to say, lots of talk about red card and the non pen, but lets face it, we all said Morsys' wasn't a pen against pompy, so suprised many are saying that was a pen today. The red card, the force he put into the tackle, if you dont get the ball, you're always in danger of getting a red for the amount of force you've gone in with.

Don't like wednesday, but finishing on 96 points, coming from 0-4 behind and getting to the final and then winning the final, they deserve it 100%

Did he go in with any more force than Gregory did? Is the only difference that Gregory got to the ball a fraction of a second earlier? Did Gregory need to react how he did (and if so, why wasn't he stretchered off)?

They had their brightest attacking spell after going down to 10, hit the bar and had other chances, it became an open game and they certainly didn't invite Wednesday on. Only in ET really did Wednesday get some sustained pressure on as Barnsley started to succumb to the extra running ten men made them do.

Pen a cert, not really comparable with the Morsy one in any way, not true logically about the red and there's a reason all the pundits and the majority of spectators are saying it wasn't a red - it wasn't.

Pen was pretty much the same, player A goes to kick ball away, player B gets a tap on it and player A accidentally kicks the leg. If todays was a pen then so was the Morsy one.

Red card, it was a red, which is why the ref gave it and so did the VAR officials, it was reckless.

Regarding Barnsleys spell, we'll have the disagree with that, Yes Barnsley had a couple half chances but they let wednesday get at them so many times.

You do understand VAR and how it works dont you Dimley?

VAR doesn’t give a red, they can suggest a ref takes another look if they think he has made a clear and obvious error, that is not the same as giving a red!

For VAR to work properly the decision on things like that should be a conversation between the TV ref and the on field officials like it is in rugby, ref has his opinion and then it’s up for discussion after they look at the replay

Well no, the question mark over the Morsy one was whether there was actually contact or if there was, did Curtis jump into Morsy's outstretched leg to then go down whereas today Gregory swiped his leg through him which is a pen all day long. Not really any point in the comparison anyway.

By that logic the refs and/or VAR never get anything wrong then, which is obviously a load of nonsense.

An open game where one team has 10 men will see plenty of chances, likely more so to the team with 11, not really letting them 'get at them'.

Not that there's a point to any of this, you could be told the sky was blue and you'd argue against it.
