1 year older than I am, awful news.
I remember that Owls team back in the 90s as my Bestie back then was a huge Sheffield Wednesday fan. Had lots of great bants between us in the early EPL days.
Weirdly, just this morning I saw a FB post of a school pic back in Secondary School and my mate was wearing the Sheffield Wednesday home shirt. That brought me right back to the 90's and Ireland where no one really had Sheffield Wednesday colours nor indeed even rarer ITFC kit.
They had a really great team back in the early 90's and really should have won the FA Cup. CBW and Carlton Palmer were big parts of that team.
