Blackpool away - lost 6-0
The Southampton game was a weird one, as they absolutely destroyed us first half and were 3-0 up at HT (I think), but then we made a change bringing JET on and got it back to 3-2 and looked like had them on the ropes, only for them to up it a gear again and grab 2 more. I was in Malta when both those games were played. I picked up a paper to find out the Peterborough score and thought it was a misprint. I wish it had been.
We were b awful that season albeit with the odd good win (WHU 5-1). Looking at the squad we had a few decent players like Cresswell, Edwards, Murphy on loan but by and large it was not the best. Put it this way, I wouldn’t swap many with what we have now.

I was at a bbq in the smoke during the Posh debacle and a few people were laughing at me and the family as the goals continued flying in.
So it was early in the season innit. Saints continuing their form from L1. Any parallels? They'd recently employed Clive Woodward yeh? And had sorted themselves out. Similar sized clubs too.
