He’ll make it 100 games in charge at the Hawthorns
Hasn’t it flown by in a blur of just wonderful, progressive, entertaining football
Over that 99 we’ve had 58 wins 27 draws and 14 losses, with a 58.5 win %
Wouldn’t it be great to hit 59 wins on his 100th game.
What games stand out for you during his reign?
I was remembering the Gillingham away game, less than a month in, his 3rd game in. He steadied the ship at home to Sunderland with a draw in first game. Got a 1-0 home win against a strong Wycombe. And I thought down in Kent we started to see what the training was already doing… yes the Gills were poor, but our passing and shape were noticeably better. A 4-0 away win… very happy Town fans in the scaffold stand…

A week before Derby we had got an unexpected gift from Forest Green as they beat Sheffield Wed.
When Chaplin scored at Derby I thought: 'We are going up'. This is our time.
The amount of times I have watched Chaplin's goal Hundreds
The night FGR beat SheffWed I was working away, but laboriously calculated an estimated final table with a stub of pencil on a piece of wallpaper to see how much of a difference that made. Those couple of weeks were when everything changed.

I didn't even expect a draw in that game.
That was a biggest away banker ever
Duncan Fergusons solitary win as their manager.

The bloke is a genius. He's the reason I still think we'll maintain our position and be promoted automatically.
The bloke is a genius indeed. I admit I heavily slagged him and the team off after the depressing 0-0 at Bristol Rovers. Everything since has been mental.

I was lucky enough to be at Derby and that really was a performance of total control of the game and opponent, we systematically dismantled them and I felt a complete mood swing within the whole club regarding our ambition for the season! We were simply brilliant that day!

Was just a top day out, had to get on the later train from Bury to Peterborough cos our earlier 8:30 am service had so many Town fans on it coming from Ipswich that it was impossible to get on.
Arriving in Peterborough to a sea of Town shirts - got to that unreal pub on the water and it was such an atmosphere.
Burns scored, the roof lifted. Chaplin netted the second to scenes I've never seen before, it was pure carnage and elation. Ladapo bags the third and I was thinking feck...we're actually gonna do it.
Here's to many more happy memories like that day with Sir Kieran McKenna.

Watched the highlights of that earlier; Walton had five top-draw important saves. Incredible how he was an integral part of a promotion winning squad and now quite possibly won’t play in the league this season.

That was a dire performance on the back of his worst run so it was justified to an extent. He’s been magic though, no question about it. The infrastructure and support around him has no doubt been a massive leg up and he inherited a solid squad but he’s done an incredible job in spite of that. Big mention to Pert too who often doesn’t get any plaudits.
Too many stand out games to call just a few. He hit the ground running and hasn’t really looked back.

All those four tricky away games tail end of last season, and then Exeter at home to seal it in style. Crazy first half and I’ve not felt such joy at PR in a very long time. Hull this season also a standout… simply sublime stuff, I thought we were ridiculously good and it confirmed to me that we could challenge again.

Must’ve watched it repeatedly at least ten times on first release of highlights, and posted it on a dozen different WhatsApp contacts/groups including non Town fans. Sublime, sensational, one in a million.
Are we counting Sunderland as his first game? Think he may have been appointed just before but McGreal was still in charge for that game.
There's been so many standout performances but I'm going to limit it to three:
Gillingham away - yes, they were sh!te. But the complete transformation in how we played that day when he'd only been in charge a few weeks was staggering.
Barnsley away - an absolute monster of a performance. We needed to win to give ourselves some breathing space in the auto promotion race, Barnsley were in form and pushing hard. We contained them brilliantly and then picked them to pieces.
Hull home - a more recent one, but easily the best I've seen Town play since the Burley years. We were absolutely superb that night, to a man. Limited a very dangerous side to next to nothing and scored three good goals and could have had more. That was the night I started to believe this was more than just a good start.

Moreover.
To think Sam Morsy clashed with an individual or two after the game and how everything changed since that game.
I said after that game it would be a hard battle to stay in the top 6.

This is exactly what we wished for, and I don't even mind that there were a few false starts before we got there. It almost adds to the joy now, when you've been through such pain.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Gills game stands out for me too. Almost instant transformation - we looked like a team suddenly. We got absolutely soaked but barely noticed the rain because the football was so good. He put his identity into the team from the moment he arrived. I remember posting after about how he was straight on the pitch at the end talking to players about the game and technical stuff.
Last season Bolton away felt important. We struggled (think Walton saved a pen?) but great goal on the break from Hirst (his first?). We then went on to replicate that goal so many times including the Chaplin goal at Derby. Bolton was the start of those confident away performances that were crucial.
This season I thought Hull was the best we've played under Kmac. Sublime.
I'll never forget coming out of Cambridge and overhearing someone saying 'That's it - Morsy's done for me. Useless'. Madness.
Kmac stayed calm always. The only time he looked stressed was after Lincoln away.
What a manager and what brilliant, brilliant football he's given us! Here's to 100 more.

Re your last paragraph - a reminder we have plenty of silly and reactionary people in our fanbase. Some of the reaction on here after Bristol Rovers was embarrassing as well.

Yes! I couldn't believe it. I think some might have jumped on the bandwagon after we started well and then threw their toys out of the pram when we had a tough spell. Kmac always looked at the performances rather than results and we never played badly. We just couldn't break down some of those sides that sat in esp on winter pitches.
I also think it gets forgotten that we managed an injury crisis in midfield. Humphreys did so well considering what was asked of him as a result.
