He’s so great in tight spaces (ooo errr), the ball just sticks to him where others would lose possession, and inevitably he draws the foul. I was very skeptical when we signed him (a mate is a QPR fan and said they loved him but he was always crocked). He’s been immense.

Taylor is technically really good but just isn't as tenacious and able to break up play in the way Morsy or Luongo does, we look more vulnerable with him in there. I'm be tempted to play him as a 10 in games like West Brom where you need the extra midfield body in there defensively at times. Chappers and Broadhead can go missing against the more athletic sides, not that we have encountered many who have outcompeted us in that field so far. You'd expect Leicester to, they have a very dominant back four.

As you say, he's got amazing close control and strength to hold off opponents, more so perhaps than Morsy even.

I thought Luongo was MOTM but I thought Taylor was composed when he came on on 23:08 - Nov 29 with 2123 views | unstableblue | He’ll have his day Thought Harness was very good when he came on Chaplin back to his best Burgess dominant Axel looked class Burns too strong for his opponent

Shame Broadband still doesn’t look right, so happy he got his goal, but he’s not quite on it as present

There's a real argument/debate as to whether he was our best buy last January. He's been brilliant, i remember in the summer before be got him one on the analytics guys done a piece on him and his stats when he played were a very high level, but as you say it was getting him on the pitch which we seem to have done.

I don't think that it is even an argument. He clearly is in my eyes. We were desperate for someone next to Morsy in that period, he came in and we haven't looked back since. I love the guy, he is quality. Appreciate that his legs will start to go so just enjoying him whilst he is about. I think Mass would have started Saturday if he hadn't of been away with Australia and Taylor would have played last night. [Post edited 30 Nov 2023 11:08]

“ There's a real argument/debate as to whether he was our best buy last January.” Agreed, him and Morsy were just utterly dominant in every game (also how quickly did they click as a partnership!). By contrast, whilst Evans is a decent player I just always felt he lacked a presence and games would too often pass him by.

There's a strong debate for all of them. I can't see us ever having a better window. All four were perfect direct replacements for JD, Harness, Humphreys and Ladapo.
