Foden 21:01 - Jun 27 with 2580 views | Bramidan | As a professional should he mentioned the liklehood he wouldn’t be able to attend the whole course. Shouldn’t his line managers decided he might not make the event thus decide not to take him.

Well thank you for your insightful reply, who knew? No really, yet you still swan off to an event when you are not really focussed.
Foden on 21:15 - Jun 27 with 2435 views | Marshalls_Mullet | 1. England management will have been fully aware. 2. He is due back before Sunday. 3. Do you work for a Local Authority? 4. Was the post a joke?

Or the manager knew all the info and discussed it in length with the player.

It’s not like it’s a regular occurrence (although it almost is for him, with this being his third when he’s only just turned 24) Better he misses a few days of prep than Shaw misses the first 3 games and then is expected to contribute in the knockout stages when he’s not match fit. (Why do we always do that? Every tournament it seems we take a crocked player rather than someone in form and fully match fit).

Well, I’m guessing everyone who needed to know, did know. Of all the things to find fault with during our campaign this Euros, not sure this one is top of the list. We can only speculate as to whether he’s ‘really focussed’ but I guess you know all the facts regarding this, so please share.

Because it's the England way. Shaw comes in, England suddenly click and Southgate is seen as a genius for taking the risk. That's what we are to believe anyway.

Foden on 23:30 - Jun 27 with 2045 views | Vegtablue | Line managers would wish all decisions were so easy. 26 man squad, top 3 player, 1 month tournament, surely they didn't even consider there was a decision to be made. He was our brightest and liveliest starter across games 2 and 3 IMO (faint praise!), but in Gordon and Palmer we have two very strong candidates for starting on Sunday in the event Foden's unprepared. We're stacked with options here, even if they play together poorly lol.
Foden on 23:35 - Jun 27 with 2006 views | itfckenty | Tbh things can happen, quite probable that his baby could have been due in a months time or even two and could be really premature. Does it honestly matter? Either way we have other players to fulfill that position if he couldn't come back, even though it's been stated he will be.

Back with the squad later today. Think the Op was trying to make something out of nothing to be honest. It's Coming Home.

Foden on 07:19 - Jun 28 with 1543 views | RobTheMonk | Our twins were born at 32 weeks and spent 5 weeks in hospital. It was a pretty traumatic time due to certain complications. Thankfully all good now. There was a lady in the high dependency unit with us who had a baby that was born at 22 weeks and had been in intensive care for over 100 days. Things don't always go according to plan. Please be mindful of situations involving childbirth.
