I doubt he’s got what he wanted, as he said he wanted to stay here. I still don’t understand how that didn’t happen if he wanted it. It seems odd to reject us. Naive or stupid? Who knows. He was great last year though and will go down in legend lore for some of our goals, so I wish him well but no more than that. |  |

Every player from the last 2 season's squads deserve to go (when they go) with our thanks. It is because of them we are being spoken about in the same breath as Man Utd, Arsenal etc again. They have earnt our respect and should be shown it.
I never follow a player once he has left us, but the squads from the 2 previous season's deserve and have earnt a respectful goodbye.
