As someone who lives fairly nearby and is just short of 15 points, seeing so many empty seats is so disappointing.
Must be a good 100+ empty seats and it’s clear as day why.
I hope the club can get a read out of who didn’t have their tickets scanned, and deduct the point accordingly.

Tis the system we have. Well over 100 by the looks of it.
Was always going to be hard for these members to sell their tickets on down the pub or on social groups for Wimbledon. Shouldn't be an issue for the less exciting Prem games as there will be plenty of demand for all of them. | | | |

You’d expect the odd seat for stuff like that. Pretty clear what’s happened tonight listening to people on here. It’s an insulting peoples intelligence to pretend otherwise.
Besides in all those scenarios it’s pretty easy to demonstrate. All it needs a note against that ticket holder and if it happens again, that’s justify it easily.

Well yes obviously but the “point” I’m making is that you can’t remove multiple points when everybody will have an excuse (real or otherwise) if challenged.

Think going forward the club will probably have to do away with the points system for cup games. No points awarded and perhaps have a slightly different priority system.
As you say would be hugely unfair on someone who missed a game for a genuine reason to be slapped with a big punishment but it's pretty obvious what's going on and the club surely can't be blind to it. |  |

Reminded me of a Tuesday night towards the end of MM tenure. I was in the block behind the goal (so the first block sold out) and there were free seats to either side of me, in front and behind.

But even still, it would be potentially 'worth a gamble' for a point, and it would also reduce the chances of others catching you up.
