So Cunha assaults someone ... on 13:45 - Dec 22 with 4592 views | J2BLUE | It might be good for us. Cunha and Ait-Nouri have been their stars. Hopefully being less weakened but over a longer period causes them to drop more points

So Cunha assaults someone ... on 13:45 - Dec 22 with 4584 views | GlasgowBlue | I'd rather Wolves had a strong team against Leicester. A draw would ensure that we aren't cut adrift going into Christmas.

So Cunha assaults someone ... on 13:46 - Dec 22 with 4582 views | ITFC_Forever | It’s a good thing Cunha is playing today as we want Wolves to get something from the game. His 5 game ban will then help us.

Wolves are good, Leicester are bad - today’s result is not good news for us.
So Cunha assaults someone ... on 14:55 - Dec 22 with 3913 views | Pinewoodblue | Wolves win in best result for us. We remain 2 pts from safety . A Leicester win would have seen us 4 pts from safety. The downer is the massive swing in goal difference between us & Wolves.

The Premier League could be looking at a second year in a row where the three promoted teams go straight back down.

So Cunha assaults someone ... on 15:21 - Dec 22 with 3638 views | lordsambuca | I was having the same thoughts as the original poster. I get a Wolves win may be better for us but regardless what is happening with the administration of premier league. Firstly we get the ridiculous explanation for Delap's booking and then this. I wonder what Leicester think. Cunha and Ait Nouri were both out of control at the end of the game.
So Cunha assaults someone ... on 15:47 - Dec 22 with 3408 views | Nthsuffolkblue | I had missed that Davis has picked up a ban. Oh, you mean Delap don't you? I guess the other 4 cards he picked up (often fairly unnecessarily) might have contrubuted too. As already pointed out, he missed 1 match but Cunha will miss several.

It's getting very tough for those with portfolios of 20+ rental homes and those owning over 50 acres of farmland when they die. But it isn't really a good look to hijack a football thread to make political proganda.

So Cunha assaults someone ... on 16:01 - Dec 22 with 3256 views | forrestsfringe | Have they actually made a decision on it yet? He had until 72 hours before today’s game to answer the charge, so one would assume there was plenty of time for the panel to make a decision. But there’s been no announcement, and there he is out there playing after assaulting a member of our staff, while we had to do without Delap for the crime of shouting at a Wolves player. I doubt they’ll think it worth doing, but our club should make an official complaint about how this has been handled.

You'd imagine based on ashtons previous comments. He'll be going all in with a complaint. Video evident. Victim statement etc.

Wolves appealing the ban is likely to see it extended, they've taken a gamble with their action

EDIT: as pointed out below I don't think there has been a decision yet, so no appeal. I guess a misconduct charge takes longer to hear and will have a lengthy ban associated to it. ORIGINAL COMMENT FOR CONTEXT: There should be an additional ban for a frivolous appeal. Probably just 1 match which will make it worthwhile for Wolves to have appealed (effectively choosing which match he missed). It would be amusing if the frivolous appeal bit resulted in the length of the ban being doubled! [Post edited 22 Dec 2024 16:15]

I don't think there is an appeals process as such, it's a case of whether the charge is contested or accepted. I saw something yesterday saying Wolves hadn't heard a verdict from the FA.
