The Playford Road car park must be a sight to behold.... 17:37 - Apr 1 with 3743 viewsMarshalls_Mullet

Muric in his £180k Bentley Bentayga.

Godfrey in his £200k Lamborghini Urus.

Kalvin in his £300k Rolls Royce.

What else gets parked there? I guess a load of boring Range Rovers?

I used to go round John Warks house as a kid, during his 3rd spell at Ipswich. He had been top scorer for Liverpool, and he had an Audi 80 and a Suzuki Samuri in his drive!!

Chaise little Suzukis were brilliant though. They were every bit as capable off road as a Land Rover.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

There was even a time when the not necessarily grand cars of some players were donated by local garages as a form of publicity for cars not of reach of the hoi polloi..

As a supporter of Town I was at PR when they opened the new Cobbold stand. Think I am right in saying season 70-71. Bobby Robson asked me for a favour. To pick up a french stick for his missus from Tooks, so he gave me a lift in his car. I don't know what the model of car was, but it was a big black thing. Certainly nothing special. Just shows you how overpaid these footballers are today.

Phillips Roller nearly pushed me into a grass verge the other week going down Humber Doucy, that thing is like a tank.

Warky had a Mini Metro and didn’t pass his driving test until he was a Liverpool player.

Think your underselling the Urus. My local garage has 1 with 5,000 miles on the clock for £232,495!

My mate has just bought the Performante Urus and yeah, £200k is a way off lol

Lovely car though, terrifyingly fast for a big ole bus, can see the appeal and i'm not a fan of really flash stuff.

I used to work with a Geordie. Lovely fella. He told me that when Kieran Dyer signed for Newcastle the Chairman said to Kieran what type of car do you like. Kieran told him and the Chairman rang a local dealership and bought him a car as a signing on present. I'm not 100% sure, but it may have been a Porsche.

they were far from grand cars, Austin princess, Datsun Cherry sort of thing. With the garage details emblazoned down the sides. Cars I would not have been seen dead driving. Players were pleased as punch with them though. Different times in deed.

Sergei Baltacha didn't necessarily seem pleased as punch with his Lada though...

Cobbold"Sergei, great to have you here old chap. You're a bit of a marquee signing, so one of the local dealerships has been in touch to offer you a complementary car."

Sergei"Thank you Mr John. I am please to be play in England, and will be doings my best for Ipsh... Ipst... Ipswe... Town. I am very much lookings forward to driving great western capitalist automobile!"

Cobbold"Erm... about that, Sergei..."

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.
