Today while she was making one of her boring speeches telling everyone how her government are going to save the world, his body language said it all really.

I wonder if he still has his job if Keir has anything to do with it he will go to prison for 2 years😂

Why would someone go to prison for 2/3 years due to their body language?

You've always been wrong, but now you don't even make sense. Very odd.

I have been kinda ambivalent on the current Government, but thanks to your posts, I am really rooting for them now.

I posted this extract from John Crace of the Guardian's column about Starmers' recent speech.

"Not every shipyard worker who had been enlisted as a backdrop for Starmer’s strategic defence review speech on Monday morning looked suitably impressed. Two stood stoney-faced and resolutely arms-crossed. Refusing to applaud either at the start, in the middle or at the end. Put them down as peaceniks at best. Traitors."

For what it is worth, I would refuse to stand behind a politician I didn't agree with but I guess the lure of seeing yourself on telly may be too tempting for many.

You mean wrong in your eyes

Just because you don’t agree with me doesn’t mean I am wrong

You are beginning to sound like your Hero Keir Starmer he also hates it when people don’t agree with him

Scottish by-election should be interesting today

You've been shown to be wrong with evidence, but you usually disappear from these threads by that point. Until you pop up again with another mad rant the next day.

Most of the time when someone of note goes along to a factory or wherever the workforce has no option but to stand and listen regardless of whether they are interested or not.

You do know that this government haven't made any law changes in this area don't you?

Sentencing is done by judges following the guidelines laid down by the (previous) government.

Assuming you weren't joking of course - which I hope you were.

It's American innit? They always have hundreds of different people standing behind some spokesperson. It's creeping in over here now. Always looks a bit creepy to me.
I couldn't help wondering why they weren't all at work yesterday? If Labour are pouring billions in to their factory? I thought it was a bus factory, but I wasn't concentrating that much.

There's a very big distinction between dissent, and encouraging one's followers to burn down a hotel full of asylum seekers.

As for the 'silent prayer' brigade - they're lunatics who think they're martyrs. The rules around protest-like activity around abortion clinics are very clear (and cover both sides of the argument); anyone setting out to pray outside a clinic is making a deliberate decision to get arrested, in order to try and prove some silly point about persecution.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.
