I’ve challenged some of what I felt were OTT reactions on here in the past few days, I’ve questioned how intolerant some “lefties” can be (I maintain this is the case), tried (and failed) to make light of some or, downplayed aspects of it. I’m not a “leftie” but would never vote for Reform. This is irrelevant though it’s no longer about politics or even the very unwelcome publicity and damage to our reputation. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I am dead against club propping up *any* political party, regardless of my views on the party itself.
It is not, and has never been, what the club should be about. The issue isn't about which politics, it is about any politics.
The club clearly know this, as they have spent the best part of the week gaslighting their fanbase and outright lying.

I've no idea if Ashton is even a reform fan boy, that's his business.

I shouldn't reply to an obvious troll, but I'm fascinated by the line of thinking where "lefties" have decided we need to get rid of Ashton (why?) so have set up a meeting between him and Farage, hacked Reform UK's socials so everyone knows Farage visited the club, forced the club to lie about what happened, and then drip-fed details to The Athletic.
