He’ll be 36 a month after the season starts. Old, injury prone, declining appearances, I wouldn’t want him if we were still in the Championship. He used to be a really top end player but is washed up now. I do hope we can do better than a team of pensioners. |  | | |

He was still more than capable for Newcastle at the end of last season, certainly not washed up. Not what Town need though. | | | |
