The Mathie Budgie hat trick shirt ? Yes on that basis alone, but I'm slightly eccentric with stuff like that, example being I wish theyd do a Texeco Cup range ( Google it kids)..

Always thought it was a cool shirt let down by the brand Core... I don't know who our kit manufacturer is for next season (has it been announced/rumoured yet?!) but I can definitely see it looking the dogs knackers on a Hummel or Errea kit.
Club representatives lurking on this forum, make it happen, regardless of whoever is making our kits next season.
This is one of those occasions where I think a like for like pattern will work a treat, as sponsor and brand will set it apart from the original.
EDIT: Still hoping for a HOAX branded kit. Would be so cool.
I'm not sure I'd bring it back - it was a very 90s look and I think we'd get laughed out of the Premier League.
Having said that, I have fond memories of it. Along with the badge redesign at the same time and a new(ish) manager and chairman, it felt like the beginning of something new after the horrors of the late Lyall/McGiven era.

That and the first day of that seasons’ kit, Man Utd away. The new badge on that darker blue shirt was a thing of beauty . Planet Blue have been asked in the past, obviously 78/81 shirts ring the bell of fans, but those of us with a sense of style love that 72’ kit!

That wasn’t the Mathie budgie hat-trick shirt. Mathie destroyed the budgies wearing the shirt with white sleeves and horsey trim.

One of the worst shirts of all time! As well as the dodgy away kit that season. There's a reason no one saw either of those shirts before the opening day at Birmingham!
That said I owned both and wore them proudly! ;o)

Talking of kits, I was watching an old game on Sky at the weekend, and was struck by the beauty of the shirt. You can see it at its best at about 2.30 as Viljoen celebrates a goal.
It's very like some of the best Italy shirts. I wish all Town shirts were exactly that shade of blue, year in, year out.
