Chelsea Owners Agree Enciso Deal
Wednesday, 20th Aug 2025 22:42

Chelsea owners BlueCo are reported to have agreed a deal to sign ex-Town loanee Julio Enciso from Brighton.

The 21-year-old Paraguayan international is expected to join Ligue 1 Strasbourg, another club in the BlueCo group, but, according to The Athletic, is seen as a Chelsea player in the longer term.

Enciso was on loan at Portman Road in the second half of last season, making 12 starts and one sub appearance, scoring twice.

The forward underwent knee surgery in July which was expected to keep him out of action for two or three months.

Nothing at all corrupt about this at all. Absolutely nothing, and it’s ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

The old Chelsea is back! snapping up as many players as possible...they're illustrious history began in 1997 with that Russian oil oligarch.

Not exactly a loss to the English game. He was hardly a team player.

Sotd78......far too good for us unfortunately.

So the only transfers to talk about are for other clubs?

That's the last we'll see of him then! Another talented footballer who won't be playing football.

Loved him, he played with a confidence and arrogance in our team which was devoid of confidence, I had no problem with his attitude or contribution!

Pity as I thought had he been fit for the whole of the loan a few other games might have gone our way. Would have loved to see him back on loan here if Brighton were willing to let him go.

Im only interested in players coming in for ITFC ,not other clubs, or could have beens , not should have done's could have done's or won't be's. Where has all the ambitions and enthusiasm gone ,it's as flat as a witches t#t..

I reckon he has one of the worst shots to goals ratio in the league. A very good player if you've got 2 absolute animals winning tackles in midfield alongside him.
Has the Marinakis cheque for Hutchinson bounced ?

Ans why is this relevant to us?
He wasn't even our player.

Another week almost passes with no permanent players in.....

What’s Ashton been doing this week? There has been no news and only the odd link all week. Surely we aren’t going into Saturday with just Hirst as the only striker? If this happens, serious questions would need to be asked. Not long now for Ashton to bring in exceptional permanent additions to the team.

This is the first time I have heard of a player signing for a commercial group rather than a football club. It should not be allowed. Something should be done to save our game and to return it to the fans.

Who cares? When is there going to be any news on our front. We need another quality striker and midfielder at least. Pull your finger out Ashton

Wish some people would stop moaning about articles Phil/ TWTD reports on. They only report on ITFC related info with what they have, not control or make it up.
If you want made up news to keep you entertained, there are plenty of other outlets to go complain about that you'll then moan cant be trusted.
You'd moan if there were less articles to chose from. Just skip over if it doesn't interest you.
Be grateful they provide what they do and without cost to you.

So many idiots on here slagging Ashton off. Ridiculous. You really think thd club aren't trying to get players in? Have none of u seen how many clubs are having problems getting players in, including big pl clubs? Why do you think its so easy for us to sign players? We've have signed 5, more than some. And if the the otherc2 players whove been to thd club said yes, thsts have been 7 and you'd all have been happy. Or are you actually blaming the club, thst those 2 said no? Im sure we could just go and sign anyone old player, and then ud moan they're not good enough. Thst wezshould habw looked for better? Well, thats what they're doing. So quit the moaning,

I wish the arm chair critiques actually understood football and how the transfer market works... we may get slightly less ridiculous posts then! Is it frustrating yes, are the club doing everything they can to bring in players yes! Is this something new - absolutely not! Are we the only club in this situation again absolutely not! Glass half full please, if we are in the relegation zone at Christmas with only Hirst up front then the moans will justified but lets just wait and see what happens shall we! As for the article, really interesting Phil.... another indication of the way the game itself is becoming ever more about the money/business and not the game itself. until rules are put in place (and then adhered to, i.e FFP for ALL clubs) then this is the trajectory we are talking sadly

A lot of potential but needs to sort out his decision making at times.
