That is a much much better team; and with tilt it’s very strong in defence. I would like to see Dozzell starting alongside Chalobah.. but despite skuses flaws we need his experience whilst the loanees and youngsters step up.

Now one thing you note is the likes of Kenlock, Emmanuel, Nydam and Morris not even making the bench it’s getting a stronger squad

It's noticeable that Morris seems to have jumped ahead of Folami isn't it. I reckon the latter will go out on loan somewhere - be the best thing for him I reckon. Not because he's not good enough, but just to strengthen him toughen him up.

Later in the season I’d like to see that... and I think there is an inevitability that Hurst will move away from Skuse given his limitations. BUT we need skuse’s experience and stature at the club given all the new faces and changes!

I'd be hoping we have an additional striker (to compete for starting place with Harrison) maybe even two and another CH (ditto, competing with Nsiala and Chambers).

My worry is if we've missed out on Bogle and won't go to Accrington's ridiculous £2m-plus for Jackson, who do we end up with to reinforce our striking options?

I struggle to see a way that Chalobah and Skuse will play effectivelly together - the role Skuse looked good at in pre season was the one Chalobah played on Saturday.

In, what is basically, a 41131, there isn't room for Skuse and Chalobah - I wonder how that will play out

Downes is apparently Hurst's boy and the one he rates the most at the moment. I think he will play for a while yet.

I'd want Ward in there though. At the moment I think he is quite important to the way Hurst wants us playing. At MK Dons I was interested to see that Hurst and Doig got stuck into him far more than anyone else; he responded with a good performance and I suppose they can see that, if he can match his energy with a bit more end product, he can be a big plus.

Downes was the anonymous one, would be interested to see how many times downes even touched the ball. Thought Skuse actually better a little further up the pitch but genuinely think, when fit, it will be Trev, Nolan and Dozzell in there at home and maybe play downes or skuse away from home when necessary?

I agree Woolfy deserves his chance, I really do. Dropping Chambers would look risky to many fans but it could always be changed round as the game goes on.
Looking at that team it would suggest Knudsen and Garner have moved on.
Taking a punt on Morris is interesting. I would of thought Ward or Roberts would of got the shout. Interesting line up .
Having an attacking line up would mean the defence and holding midfielder would have to work hard defending .
