It was nice to actually be able to sit and enjoy the game without a load of lager swilling oaths standing constantly and shouting profanity after profanity. A far more civilised away day for the 90% of regular traveling fans as those numbskulls who seem to turn up in their numbers for a London Town Away Day were not there. Probably incapable of negotiating the M25 and M4 and having to work out an itinerary themselves, rather than just get on a train and harass women.

I suppose that's true but at some away games last season i found it hard to believe that some of those in our area where Town fans, cant say i'm sure but felt that some were just thugs just wanting to make trouble! Sorry but it just looked like that.

The irony of calling someone an 'oath' is not lost on me.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

I was having trouble making the OP compute. Urging people to be civilised whilst t the same time be quite rude about them. I was getting mixed messages.

How he described is pretty much like me minus the lager.

Those bloody numbskulls are a friggin pain in the arse even when they are not there.

The last time I went to Reading I used the train fk all that driving bolox.

He has referred to some Town fans as numskulls in Most every thread he has started. While it is easy to see where he is coming from with his comments about Reading away no need for him to be rude to others.

There were 4 kids at the front that were having a good time.

Felt sorry for the female steward who sat next to them!

RIP Sir Bobby

You got a downvote for sitting at an away game.

I agree on a nice atmosphere, but isn’t part of making the atmosphere competitive and fun being mean and shouting profanity’s to the opposing side?

The smell of the flare took me back to Northern Ireland as a young soldier.
Hands up for a war story? (please don't)

I thought the lads at the front who refused to sit and gabs some abuse to the waitrose boys did well.

A 🍘 NG atmosphere

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Isn’t it funny how mangers / players seem to praise our support more at these types of games (Millwall / Reading / Fulham / Charlton etc) when the ‘oaths’ are there standing and chanting?

We’re there to support our team not sit and eat our sandwiches.
