Any pond experts on here? 14:12 - Jul 24 with 1731 viewsBrixtonBlue

There's hundreds of little creatures in our pond, that look a bit like very tiny tadpoles, that sort of wiggle straight up to the surface, then fall back down again (and repeat). Any idea what they are?

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

Tadpoles?

All I know is they're definitely not tadpoles.

Well I know they're not giraffes either, but you get the idea.

They sound like they are likely mosquito larvae.

not much of a description to go on, but mosquito larvae behave like that.

Sounds like Sprucey, he wiggles from across the pond opens his mouth and then back down again. And repeats.

That's why I think you're probably a comedy creation. Anyone with a sense of humour like that wouldn't be a twåt in other matters (no offense )

Almost certainly fly larvae. Midges/gnats.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.
