All Derby's young black lads need pulling down a peg or two on 13:04 - Feb 19 by BlueBadger
Usually veiled, but it's there. No-one spoke about Aaron Cresswell getting 'too big for his boots' when stories of premier league interest in him surfaced, unlike they did with Tyronne Mings, for example.
as some who could never be classed as white middle /old aged man with my ethnicity and have no axe to grind but i thought everyone on this board wished tyrone all the best. were you getting him mixed up with titus unless you you have links
forensic experts say footers and spruces fingerprints were not found at the scene after the weekends rows

But it’s ok for black artists to go on with a chip on their shoulders on national TV on the Brit awards? No wonder these young impressionable footballs have these them and us attitudes
Exactly but your not aloud to say that out loud.

No what I inferred was the same a Darth, however my point was what is the difference? Victimisation/racism/sexism is the same both ways around? Black rappers can’t go around using the term Ni*8er in their songs when referring to each other and then cry racism when a white kid who is influenced by their music (and yes I have first hand experience of this having a teenage son) who refers to black people with that word. That is double standards
It is not a double standard.
Hope that helps, feel free to share it with teenagers.

It IS one sided, BAME people in this country experience the vast, vast majority of racism that occurs in this country, and it is perpetrated by white people. That there are areas of the country where whites are an ethnic minority is barely relevant, being in the minority doesn't count as being discriminated against. You say you were made to feel uncomfortable, but as Herbivore pointed out (you should try taking him off ignore if you're worried about shutting down debate), this isn't pleasant, but does it constitute either the scale or depth of racism that is the problem in this country?
1. You appear to be missing the point. No one says that racism towards white people has anything like the impact, in the UK, of racism the other way. The point was that you play into the farage narrative, when you deny that it exists, claim that its not possible because you have to have power to be racist etc etc. Taking those positions just entrenches the views of the people most of us would like to see the error of their ways / views. 2. Not a chance of taking that obsessive dishonest sniper off ignore. 3. Please specify where I made an assertion to the effect that my experience in Whitton constituted the scale or depth of racism issues in this country generally. 4. Please also note that I DID experience racism during that time- on one specific occasion, but that that is not something I have even commented on- given that it was not relevant to the points under discussion.
The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it.

There is a reason racists like Ely like to say well what about white people being discriminated against, and it's not because they want to fight racism.
I still insist you three are talking about maybe 4 or 5 areas the size of a postcode. One area of Luton has been mentioned twice!

In London six boroughs (Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Newham, Redbridge and Tower Hamlets) have BAME majorities (less than 30% of Newham's population is white). These are not the size of a postcode, they are all places much larger than Ipswich in population terms.
Glassers summed it up in his response, see if you can work out why I'm calling you out when comparing your replies to Ely.
All Derby's young black lads need pulling down a peg or two by GlasgowBlue19 Feb 2020 13:14 The absolute nerve of a black man who has most likely been on the receiving end of radical abuse, publicly calling out somebody who in a position of power and has used the sort of language that normalised the type of racism he has had to put up with.
I mean who do these black peoples with chips on their shoulder think they are?

Are you suggesting that after Brexit, and the like of Boris that these vvankers haven’t become more emboldened?
If you are, then you’re an idiot. I’ve seen it first hand.
Boris is a racist.
Yes Boris is, and fine for Dave to call him out, not sure why ely, usm and girthy have an issue with that. Well it’s clear why girthy does, but the other two.
Mr Town said you can’t call cause and effect with Boris and this geezer in derby and I think that’s fair enough actually. The derby bloke seems contrite, pretty appalled with what he’s done and you’d think unlikely he’ll repeat it.

I was born in Luton and grew up in my younger years in Hounslow and Bully is correct. Most large cities especially oop north have large areas of non integration.
There would also be murders (literally) if a white man tried to marry into certain communities. Racism certainly isn't one way.
Not sure what the Derby bloke was thinking though, even if it's true that the black lads were acting a bit "Like that" he might have thought about the consequences of saying what he did.
Now I was born in Hounslow and trod the path to Luton the other way.

In the wider context, the emboldening of such views has coincided with certain events.
I think the two can be connected. Racism is racism.
