Somebody who worked within earshot of me at work used to talk like that all the time. Every other sentence on his prodigious number of phone calls was 'we need to have that conversation'. Well, why not have it now, while you're talking to them about talking to them?

Detraining was the old military technical term for getting units of soldiers off a troop train, in the days when railways were integral to military movement (e.g. World War One).
