I'll start us off.

J2 - Chopra. He loves a gamble so he does!
Facters - Jonathan Douglas. Experienced pro, seen it all, but can barely move now.

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

I'm Martijn Reuser - good value, capable of magic but not seen at PR nearly as much as I should have been.
[Post edited 4 Jun 2020 19:44]

That or Ulrich Le Pen - talked about more on TWTD than I ever was seen at PR...

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I see no-one's mentioned me yet ...

As we're talking fantasy football, and haven't had a decent dedicated RB since he left, I'll be David Wright & promise to try & emulate his goal-scoring feats OK?

Keno - Teddy Bishop - out for long periods but when he returns we realise how much he was missed.
Bluefish - Paul Lambert - keeps going on about the same thing - not everyone's cup of tea - some want him gone.
Glassers/sparks - Luke Chambers - can play out on the right but more useful when played in to a more central role.

Ready! Steady! Cook!

What about the forum posters who are town players...
1
Forum posters as Town players on 08:02 - Jun 5 with 6128 viewsWarkystache

Rommy - Flynn Downes. Love him whilst he's here but susceptible to a transfer and might be plying his trade with the big boys soon.

Sprucey - Danny Sonner. Clearly capable of something big but can he be arsed?

J2 - Jason Dozzell. Would feature high on lists of all-time legends, sometimes doesn't do himself too many favours with the fan base but when he's on form, he's unplayable.

Hoppy - Kevin Wilson. Scores more than his fair share, tempted to say above his weight. Jesus is he ugly though.

Dollers - James Norwood. Often rubbish in a one-on-one but capable of some crackers. Groin troubles have affected his performances too often for it not to be coincidence.

Facters - Ray Crawford. Still alive, still reminiscing, heart's not really in it much but he can still gladden the spirit with his presence.

Mullet - Sixto Peralta. Incisive and fondly regarded, rapier-like but, without any games, he can seem peripheral.

Callis - Luke Chambers. Wears his heart on his sleeve. Capable of some massive ricks and divides opinion accordingly. You know he's Ipswich through and through and desperately want to see the imperious crowd-pleasing side but too often lately end up with another dodgy back pass.

I'll think of some more later

Colin Healy - C_HealyIsAPleasure

But I can't quite put my finger on why, maybe something to do with infrequent appearances that leave you ponderous.

Love the hoppy one

Chris Swailes - sure there must be a poster to match that player but can't think who.

WeWereZombies as chriswailes.

Finally I get linked up, even if it is to another poster, and not to the more appropriate for me Master of The Own Goal that was Chris Swailes.

Swansea Blue as Geraint Williams because when he tackles other posters there is something immovable about him; and like Geraint, and everyone in Swansea, I guess he supports Cardiff City...

Herbivore is a bit of a Lee Martin.

A left winger, malnourished and ineffectual. A short temper, likes to give off the impression that there’s something there that we’re all yet to see, but ultimately just lacks any real creativity and skill to make a notable contribution.

Can I nominate myself as Kevin Bru?

Bang average at best, did something decent every now and then to remind people he’s there, couldn’t see out a game until the end and was rarely seen in his latter days. Largely forgettable.

I also lost a dog once and very briefly toyed with the idea of attending a wedding in the Mauritius if that helps?

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

But also don't forget that, despite posting in much higher pressure environments before, the pressure of posting this year has made it extremely difficult for you. Or something.

Of course if J2 had’ve started badly, then upped his forum contribution, everyone would be saying what a good poster he is.
