This one seems a lot more thorough though (the final report covers Strengths & Weaknesses, Romantic Relationships, Friendships, Parenthood, Career Paths and Workplace Habits).

The experiment was just a way of demonstrating that personality profiles which manifestly havn't been individualised in any way, are still considered highly accurate if people trust the process by which they are derived.
If this website has a bunch of well written profiles, it could allocate the profiles randomly and completely ignore the questions, and people would believe the profile was specific to them. | | | |

My understanding is the research it's based on has been largely debunked. And I've done it a couple of times and come out with completely different profiles, neither of which seemed very accurate when I looked at them closely.
You should do some reading up on cognitive bias some time, I think you'd find it fascinating. |  |
