Released by Derby. He's a Suffolk boy and has history with PL.

And like Lambert, his best years are well behind him.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Best years being behind him in the Champ is the main reason he would be an option in L1.

Haven't seen enough of him in the past few seasons to know whether he's a good bet, but wouldn't rule him out at the age of 31.

Could certainly do a decent job at L1 level. If he were interested, then I wouldn't be upset with him here.

The Derby offer remains on the table. ITFC cannot possibly make him a better offer ...

... Janoi Donacien also has history with PL ...

ITFC shall rise like a phoenix from the ashes of its long decline!

Failed to agree deal at Derby. What chance have we got of agreeing one.

There's no way he's signing for an average league one team.

I imagine there will be plenty of championship options.

Martin should be good enough to play League One next season (he scored 20odd when he last played at this level) however he's a Norwich City supporter so I don't see him coming tow Town for love nor money.

As for saying he's past it ... goes back to the experts saying how rubbish Murphy was and he'd had been no good for us back here last season in League One at his age, when he scored as nearly as many goals as Jackson and Norwood (and more than Keane) while playing alongside teenagers at Bolton. He'd have easily scored 10+ with our set up. Not a progressive signing but any stretch but its the results we needed last season over entertainment or long term value.
