Is it possible to disagree with the BLM movement on 15:36 - Sep 18 by itfcjoe | Listened to a BBC series the other week called How They Made Us Doubt Everything, and how lessons learned from cigarette companies, were taken on by oil companies, and now we have the anti-science lot pushing things with regards to linking climate change to things like manliness and common sense, politics and religion in the US. They know what works, and target the white population with lower education qualifications - it's so much putting people in their place, keeping them there and then blaming others for why their life is sh*t which they are then lapping up. Stockholm Syndrome - the series is really interesting https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000l7q1/episodes/guide EDIT - And the problem with this podcast, is the only people who will listen to it are those who are not in the latter of Spruce's 2 categories, and they are the ones who need to! "In the other individualism, conspiracy, feelings, anecdotes, contempt for science and suspicion of others rule the head and the heart." [Post edited 18 Sep 2020 15:40]

Is it possible to disagree with the BLM movement on 16:27 - Sep 18 by SpruceMoose | But Herbie, do you ever stop to think that we must be pretty crap at furthering our left wing ideals considering that, in my lifetime at least, we have never had the chance to enjoy living under anything like the left wing government I'd like to see... So, if a genuinely left wing government hasn't been in power over the last three or four decades, who can we possibly blame for all of our society's ills?! Don't say... Centrists and Right Wingers? Surely not! [Post edited 18 Sep 2020 16:27]

Now you come to mention it, the left has never been anywhere near power in my lifetime either. My mind is blown. To listen to ROKERSH!TE you'd think that those on the left have been destroying society as we know it for years now, perniciously influencing every aspect of our day to day lives. But actually, the left hasn't ever been in any position to do that in the UK, at least not since the 70s. How do we go about squaring that circle? Maybe he means the influence of the media, which as we know in the UK is peddling a particularly virulent form of Marxism. It's not like we live in a country where the top selling newspaper is known for giving column inches to the likes of Katie Hopkins and Richard Littlejohn and famously ran a headline declaring 'Hurrah for the black shirts!'. And it's not like the second biggest newspaper is a right wing red top that shamelessly favours populist nonsense over editorial integrity. If we lived in a country like that I'm sure it'd be paradise, but instead we're simply overrun with newsprint that is essentially rehashing The Communist Manifesto on a daily basis. Oh hang on, I think I might have got confused again. We do live in a country where the right controls most of the major media! So yeah, I'm really struggling with this. Perhaps ROKERSH!TE can elaborate for us exactly how it is the left have ruined everything when they have very little power or influence in the UK.

Of course; not that I've been for a couple of years. The reason I signed up to this board about fifteen months ago is I backed you heavily ante-post last season but I might have joined before that, I lose track of when I joined what. I've never been to Suffolk in my life and I'll never get there now. I've always imagined it to be a beautiful county.

An anti-racism organisation (more of a movement really) is "evil"? My goodness you're even more of a kunt than I'd given you credit for. As for the second part, as usual you're in the wrong: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/05/insider/capitalized-black.amp.html

Is it possible to disagree with the BLM movement on 15:36 - Sep 18 by SpruceMoose | I said this yesterday, but broadly people are currently living in two seperate realities, that each feel incredibly real and true. In one reality concepts such as truth, evidence, research, empathy, compassion and facts still hold sway. In the other individualism, conspiracy, feelings, anecdotes, contempt for science and suspicion of others rule the head and the heart. I think it's clear to see that both these realities are not equal. I have no idea how we reconcile them though. [Post edited 18 Sep 2020 15:49]

Very well said. Life would be simpler and crucially better if people were more honest and objective about the world around us and where we’re going. Unfortunately, UK public debate and our media’s business models/billionaire agendas run almost exclusively off the second “reality”.

It's not the only source that makes you wrong on this one. There are several others. It seems you've now at least given up the pretence of pretending to care about Black people. [Post edited 18 Sep 2020 17:39]

I guess people who weren't very loved as children often have trouble recognising their shortcomings, and often fail to accept when they're wrong about something. Obviously this is all the fault of the parents. A failure to set appropriate expectations and boundaries and an inability to provide worthwhile learning experiences are probably at the heart of it all. But I digress. It's Black. With a capital B. Although, as you're a racist I understand your impulse to resist reality.

And there's the typical caring leftist. Forget about racial injustice, what really matters is following a politically correct, grammatically incorrect, way of writing black. I'll stick to writing it the way Larry Elder and other black American conservatives do. Anyway, it's cocktail time again as my good friend and companion has arrived home. Spend half an hour on Larry Elder's twitter page and discover how so many things you think you know just ain't so.
