Schedule over the next few weeks 09:07 - Oct 16 with 1410 views | itfcjoe | Saturday - Accrington H Tuesday - Doncaster A Saturday - Lincoln A Tuesday - Gillingham H Saturday - Crewe H Tuesday - Sunderland A Saturday - FA Cup Tuesday - Crawley A (EFL Trophy) Saturday - Free due to Blackpool game You can see why we wanted that Blackpool game moved, even if it did mean we had a couple of injuries in the squad at the time, effectively meant we had Saturday, Saturday, Saturday for 3 weeks (with EFL Trophy game almost purely kids) 6 league games in 18 days coming up......7 proper games in 21 days with the FA Cup game being one we presumably won't send the kids out for

Schedule over the next few weeks on 09:13 - Oct 16 with 1372 views | SomethingBlue | It's utterly crazy and all the worse given our injury situation. More or less the same for everyone, schedule-wise anyway, at least but we will lose a couple of these games and PL should also be forgiven rotating as long as it's within the structure that has served us well so far. Schedule over the next few weeks on 09:16 - Oct 16 with 1345 views | hype313 | If and it's a big if we can keep ourselves injury free (I know, I know) then if we continue our form we could find ourselves in a great position come late Nov. Everyone is in the same boat, so we won't find ourselves at such a disadvantage with such a congested calender.

Schedule over the next few weeks on 09:18 - Oct 16 with 1337 views | Herbivore | A few tougher games in there. We'll have a better idea of how likely we are to challenge after that run of games. Our start so far has been very easy, no real tests as yet.

The quality of opposition..... on 09:19 - Oct 16 with 1332 views | Bloots | ....ramps up a lot as well. Without dismissing what has happened so far, in my opinion this is where the season really starts and we can gauge exactly where we are and how we are going to progress. ....and more importantly how Shambert deals with a quick succession of games against quality (albeit 3rd Division quality) teams.

Schedule over the next few weeks on 09:25 - Oct 16 with 1283 views | tractorboy1978 | We need to make sure we win those 3 home games and then if we can nick a win in one of the aways or pick up a couple of draws we are well away. Let's be honest, there is no reason we cannot win any of those games with the team we have at our disposal, even if it is a bit depleted by injuries.

One of those gaps on a Saturday is when the Blackpool game would've been, and the other one is the FA cup I think?

And an international break in there too. Forgot the fa cup was in November.

Looks realistic. Ten points from that lot would be fine by me, to be fair.

Schedule over the next few weeks on 09:57 - Oct 16 with 1139 views | GeoffSentence | The situation in early November is crucial, we will know both how well we fair when playing some of the better teams in the league and who the next American President will be.

Schedule over the next few weeks on 10:01 - Oct 16 with 1123 views | clive_baker | It's a good thing for me, while we're in form and confidence is high. Fitness shouldn't be an issue, given the depth we have. The next 6 are big, lets tick them off and get the points in the bag I say. I also think it has to only be a matter of time before Covid starts to impact fixtures. We've seen it in Rugby already, but with cases rising I don't think it's going to be too long before some clubs become impacted more than they have been.

While 10 points isn't too bad, if those were the exact results I would be a little concerned that our complete lack of ability to beat any half decent team still remains. I think at least one win is needed from Donny, Lincoln or Sunderland.

Whilst Lincoln are second, like us they have mostly played cr@p teams so far. In fact the only top half team they have played is Bristol Rovers and they lost to them. I'd hope we could do the same. Same with Donny, only they lost to Wigan. Even Sunderland have limped to draws with Brizzle and Charlton, though they did get a narrow win over posh. If we have any aspirations of getting promoted we should be doing well against that lot.

The results you highlight could, on the other hand, suggest we haven't played such awful teams so far after all. Not many points between anyone yet so it's difficult to judge. Expect we'll win a couple and lose a couple from that lot and it'll be OK.

Yeah, absolutely, it is too early to judge, but they have all played similar teams to us and fared worse. If that form continues then we ought to be picking up a decent haul of points against them, and if we don't then I'd be concerned.
