If someone could let me know if he gets any scrutiny from the press as to why he ignored the advice, didn’t do this over half term for two weeks, and his culpability for the human and economic damage that ensues, I’d be most grateful.

You’ve contradicted yourself a few times here. More positive tests would naturally lead to more admissions. Yes it depends on individual circumstance but how is there conjecture in that. With a big enough data set that would be the case.
Again, it doesn’t mean COVID is ‘rising’ it could mean our ability to test, admit, treat and record data has improved. It could have been equally as high prior to this only deaths weren’t occurring as frequently. Perhaps the strain has mutated in certain regions, perhaps deaths previously weren’t attributed to COVID but something else so it’s not flawed logic - there are unanswered questions in the data presented.
I’ll leave it here. I love your magnanimous point about ‘not understanding the data’ (inferring you do) when you are privy to a nano-fraction of it. I don’t know the answers, I’m raising questions because I don’t. You don’t know the answers but you’re presenting them like fact!? It’s a strange logic.
Nonsense quip about ‘love ones being affected’. I’m questioning data not denying their existence.
No offence, but I know what Stokie does for a living. I'd rather trust him over you when it comes to data sets.

"You’ve contradicted yourself a few times here"
No I haven't.
"More positive tests would naturally lead to more admissions. Yes it depends on individual circumstance but how is there conjecture in that. With a big enough data set that would be the case."
This is still false regardless of how many times you say it. The result of a test is irrelevant to whether you get admitted to hospital, what matters is the patients actual condition.
"Again, it doesn’t mean COVID is ‘rising’ it could mean our ability to test, admit, treat and record data has improved. It could have been equally as high prior to this only deaths weren’t occurring as frequently. "
This is supposition with no evidence to support it. Why wouldn't deaths be occurring as frequently? It's simply not the case as nothing has changed.
"Perhaps the strain has mutated in certain regions, perhaps deaths previously weren’t attributed to COVID but something else so it’s not flawed logic - there are unanswered questions in the data presented."
The strain hasn't mutated. We know exactly what the genetic make-up of the various strains of C19 are. Perhaps once again you should research this before making sweeping statements.
The way deaths are recorded is also available for everyone to see as I am sure you know. It's not changed in ages. It's interesting that you see "unanswered questions in the data" whilst experts see clear trends and issues.
"I’ll leave it here. I love your magnanimous point about ‘not understanding the data’ (inferring you do) when you are privy to a nano-fraction of it. This isn't what you've done though. You've rubbished the expert analysis of the data for some unknown reason and then attempted to justify that point with statements that are provably incorrect.
"Nonsense quip about ‘love ones being affected’. I’m questioning data not denying their existence."
Why are you questioning the data when you clearly don't have all the information? You are citing "questions" that already have answers.
"So, as a precaution, here’s some rules (which don’t make a lot of sense in the context of these very loose graphs) we’re going to impose on you and guilt trip you into abiding by”."
I think it's fairly clear what your motivation is here.

He's not, he's been asked to stop posting this sort of nonsense before so I don't think he can have too many complaints.
i just hate this insensitive rubbish when so many people now know of people who have unfortunately lost their lives to COVID or have at least been critically ill.
Just not needed especially when they've been repeatedly been told...so fair play for taking action.

It's all NWO stuff so that you can't go to Wetherspoons or watch live League One football.
Something like that.
If there is a NWO, they seem to be pretty unambitious.

Let me elaborate...
The data doesn’t show levels of testing between August compared to October so doesn’t show whether the disease is really rising or whether tests are just more abundant. There needs to be comparative data sets.
It doesn’t show whether the strain has weakened or not in that time as there’s no data on the severity of the cases - herd mentality was meant to achieve exactly this ie: increasing anti-bodies naturally among the mass to weaken the strain’s effectiveness.
There’s no data or projections for who may have had it and not diagnosed or reported it across the periods presented.
In short, we’re being presented data as fact without any ability to question it. Until then, it’s not science as you incorrectly state, it’s statistics and empirical at that.

I saw one rant the other day saying COVID was created by Jeff Bezos so Amazon can take over the world. The virus was created to cause lockdowns so everything has to be delivered because everybody's stuck at home. Makes a change from Bill Gates creating it so we all have to have a vaccine that has a microchip in it I suppose

Agree with tour posts regarding this. Well put.
As stated before - this is about protecting the NHS. Testing doesn't really come into it.
Hospitals will be well aware if the numbers admitted due to 'winter pressure' and the steady rise in numbers needing treatment for coved will point to a date when hospitals do not have the capacity to cope. Numbers testing positive in themselves, and deaths, are not the concern. As the former, for the greater part, do not need treatment in a hospital, and the latter in total don't
So without people being kept apart those needing treatment will quickly swamp te system - so we are being asked to stay apart.
Is it really that awful, or have we become so dependent on instant gratification that we are unable to see the bigger picture ?

Even the parts that are blatantly untrue?
That's a bit weird. Why would you do that?
If he posted tomorrow was going to be 37 ft deep in snow on top of Buckingham Palace and 97° Celcius down the road at Westminster would you go, "Oooh, I agree with everything you just said there"?
Well yes. I'm no expert but to be making one post after another just repeating the word 'data' thinking that's somehow going to blind everyone into cooing along...
I get irritated by people who have completely ignored the whole thing and then argue with those who have bothered to at least tried to take note all along.
If I don't know something, I ask those who do. I don't argue with them and pretend I know better.

However, the problem was only heightened by the fact that the test-and-trace system had been presented by the government as a magic bullet that would get the nation out of lock down by quickly isolating infected individuals. This idea had one glaring flaw: large numbers of infected people displayed no symptoms of the disease and so passed undetected through the test system, which led to an inevitable rise in numbers of cases."

Didn’t even bother watching it. It’s ridiculous.
You think it should be a more severe lockdown too? Couldn’t agree more. We need to get this situation under control. I don’t think this lockdown is going to be as effective as the one for the first wave.
