What does Shambert think needs to be changed? on 09:34 - Dec 6 with 4254 views | itfcjoe | Power play no doubt, he now knows he's above O'Neill in the pecking order so will start trying to get in charge of the academy or something stupid

What does Shambert think needs to be changed? on 09:36 - Dec 6 with 4231 views | Plums | ME paying him off but after the statement this week, he now knows it won’t happen. I imagine he’s gutted. He knows him going will reduce the negativity- instantly. [Post edited 6 Dec 2020 9:37]

Perhaps he’s threatened by the authority Bryan Klug has at the club?
What does Shambert think needs to be changed? on 10:06 - Dec 6 with 4138 views | Keno | Well I think is sees this as an incremental thing The fans need to be more Scottish the team colours need to change to white and green hoops the ground needs to move to Glasgow

I think it’s nailed on he will feel ill will towards anyone at the club who has a more positive relationship with the fan base than he does.
What does Shambert think needs to be changed? on 10:49 - Dec 6 with 4048 views | MrTown | Original thought press, but that’s too obvious. He’s a slippery customer, something selfish always in the back of mind. Could be edging for a bit of money in January, I don’t know.

Would be criminal that. Klug and O’Neill been fantastic in that department.

Christ, he's doing enough harm now. Imagine the damage he could do if allowed unfettered control over the academy.

What does Shambert think needs to be changed? on 11:46 - Dec 6 with 3946 views | DublinBlue84 | Banning all the 'negative' fans and those who post on TWTD from Portman Road perhaps Seriously though, I imagine he's discussing the press and the fans in general, bit of a power play after what has happened in the last week I reckon. Now he knows he has Evans in his pocket to a degree he's going to try and use that to get his way. All whilst sticking various excuses out when they don't do well so Evans has no choice but to continue to back him after he's agreed that those are factors which effect the team.

What does Shambert think needs to be changed? on 12:48 - Dec 6 with 3846 views | SE1blue | I think he’s talking about the level of expectation currently on him. He’s just won a game, he knows he has ME’s backing, so he saw as his chance to hint that he needs/wants more (investment for players, control etc) but also less expectation from the fans. He can’t say this out loud as he’s only just the backing of the owner and he’s upset the fans recently. So, best to drop a hint... He says he doesn’t feel pressure but the Lambert doth protest too much. He’s got the fans on his back because of his poor people and player management, and an owner who fully backs him with nothing more than hot air and a regular pay cheque. Hes under pressure and wanting to say more but can’t.

What does Shambert think needs to be changed? on 13:18 - Dec 6 with 3796 views | unstableblue | I think it’s local press coverage and his concern that there is a lack of understanding of how damaged the club was and the footballing ethos running through from academy to first team He seems to be genuinely positive towards ONeill and Marcus; and I think he puts the injuries down to luck. I can only think it’s the above. He’s sadly making it worse with his style of communication - albeit Brenner and Watson must be trying

I'm sure we can all be reassured that Lambert's '12 passes at the back and then lump it' style is now being implemented across all tiers of the club. Truly, we'll have the non-scoring technical side we've always dreamed of that will be highly competitive in the Conference, as long as the papers stop asking nasty questions like 'Paul, why do we keep losing games' and 'why are you trying to pretend that endless injuries is bad luck and not piss-poor sports science'.

“his concern that there is a lack of understanding of how damaged the club was and the footballing ethos running through from academy to first team” That’s perhaps his concern and point of view Badger - whereas the vast majority of fans think “you’ve been here frickin ages, and apart from better passing across the back in midfield, you have failed to develop a system that mounts sustained pressure on teams even in League One” I’m sure your thoughts would include more expletives and Lambert character abuse?
