Surprised to see the players travelling up today for an evening kick off... 13:40 - Feb 22 with 2838 viewsitfcjoe

....tomorrow.

As a club, these are the advantages our vast resources give us compared to the rest of the division......and Lambert moans about lack of structure

He probably want's us to fly up there, that's what clubs like Dortmund and Celtic would do.

Probably sees it as a way to get the players away from training and local negative’vibe’

I assume Nolan and Jackson won’t travel, so removed them from players line of sight.

As always Tuesdays yet another MUST win for Lambert (version 456), him and Gill are saying Saturday’s performance is a foundation, and no doubt the messaging to Marcus will be about Norwood back to fitness, senior defenders returning, loanees settling.

As Phil suggested it sounded we were close to the ejector button being pressed; and a meeting and Saturday have given a reprieve.

We all know Lambert doesn’t have the coaching acumen to get sufficient chances away at Hull to get the win. If that’s combined by a lacklustre press.... we’ll who knows perhaps we’ll get what we all want.

A very unlikely win, and it will definitely be a stay of execution.

Imagine being in Hull being a preferable alternative to something.

The negative vibe is from Lambert and thus goes wherever he goes.

The local press and fans didn't expel two senior players to the U23's or spout endless lies to justify their rubbish performance.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I completely agree

All the negative local vibe is of Lamberts making; my point is it may be a reason he wants the players away early.

Although Hull is a long way to travel on match day.

May want to create a siege mentality, them and us. With bizarrely Nolan and Jackson as part of us!!!!!

Was reading Robinson’s detailed post match from Saturday, felt they didn’t turn up, players angry with each other at half time due to performance, and still felt draw was fair result. My point being the result - a frickin 0-0 - was probably not against a fully flying Oxford. If Hull turn up / we lose - he goes???!!

It really is unfathomable that he is still in charge given the current circumstances.

I mean, the US takeover thing is clearly complete squit, but I can't help but feel there's something going on in the background which is preventing Evans from just firing the bloke.

Being at the bedside of a dying parent is a walk in the park compared with having to spend a night in Hull.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

We are during a pandemic, have a owner who has made his money off the events business which would have suffered immensely over the past 12 months, and he has given our manager a 5 year contract. Nothing more to see here

Only 75% definite info but I am advised he is not on the coach but travelling up tomorrow.

He barely has the energy to do his post match press duties.

How many coaches are we taking to away games for our 55-man squad or is it only Nolan who gets the "privilege" of travelling only to find out an hour before kick off from the team sheet he isn't even in the 18?

Surely that’s no good for the team having your manger not travel with you. Didn’t lambert and Norwood have a fall out after Wimbledon away, when he made Norwood come back from London just to get the bus up with the team.
Or was that just a rumour?
