It still is fairly lively talking about him even 2 and a half years after he managed us.
Some of the goals they have scored have been crackers too.
I get that some of the matches were not the best to watch and I get it turned acrimonious between him and fans at the end.
What I don't get is why fans can't just accept he was a good manager and either enjoy his success elsewhere or not worry about it.
Let's enjoy what we get with our new manager and hope it is sooner rather than later that we have closed the gap to where MM is. |  |

It doesn’t have to be one or the other as GB, Lyall and Royle in there time proved.
As it goes, grinding out a result away from home was never a bad thing and there’s a good chance Cardiff will go up. Not the best owners at Cardiff but they have a bit more ambition than painting the turnstiles once every 20 years so MM will get backing.
I remember a game I went to at Highbury in the early 90s on Boxing Day where we literally parked the bus. I don’t think we made it out of the penalty area. It was awful but we came away with a point and it hacked off the Arsenal fans, so a good day out. Rare for a Lyall team but that day there was a place for it.
