It’s not though is it. It’s just that you take exception to the fact that various posters disagree to you and aren’t afraid to challenge you.

Circa when by BlueBadger 12 Mar 2021 9:36What is it about a community of (mostly)straight white men showing some basic decency towards people even if they're NOT white, straight or male that upsets you? My word, I'm getting a lot of mileage from this one today. [Post edited 12 Mar 2021 14:54]

I never take exception to anyone disagreeing with me. I take exception when they abuse me.

The urban dictionary describes it as ‘The act of being very pretentious about how much you care about a social issue’

You lie about them, and accuse them of having a “meltdown”. Which is of course a form of abuse.

So you just went online to get a definition. You had no real idea yourself.

With all due respect that definition you provided isn’t at all hard to articulate. So you dislike the caring about social issues or the pretentiousness ? as per that definition) [Post edited 12 Mar 2021 15:50]

You should try a real dictionary. Cambridge: aware, especially of social problems such as racism and inequality Oxford: aware of social and political issues, especially racism It's a strange take to try and turn being informed and and aware about inequality into an insult. It's very the last 4-5 years though.

As Badger pointed out earlier, even more bizarrely 'do-gooder' was frequently used as a term of abuse. Why? What's wrong with doing good? This is still a Christian country, and Jesus was pretty hot on doing good stuff.

Is the correct noun a wokel? And a wokel from around here is a local wokel. So that makes a local wokel from the sticks a local wokel yokel. Maybe.
