Probably didn't even crack our top 10 worst of the season. [Post edited 24 Apr 2021 17:56]

So why keep persisting with the likes of Bennetts and McGuiness? Why not drop the players he feels are letting the club down. Edit. And why not use Judge as a sub as he’s one of the few who has given 100%? [Post edited 24 Apr 2021 18:02]

Because we have Bishop who is an option at number ten and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s lining up someone else - perhaps Nick Powell who’s contract is up at Stoke. He does not want to trigger Judge’s extension clause.

His extension clause only applied to starts. Not sub appearances..

Never realised that. I mean logic would say it’s because he wants to see players who will be here next season but he then selects McGuinness and Bennetts...

Plus, Judge's '100%' has still been generally ineffective and a far cry from the player who was going to 'tear up' the division.

Probably because he would struggle to put a starting eleven out there. Don't think we will see Bennett's again in a blue shirt.

"It's like we've won a raffle to play at this ground" on 18:11 - Apr 24 with 2824 views | J2BLUE | What is the point of playing the last three games with this lot? Send the loanees back. Tell those being released to stay away and play the youths. I know what he said about them but just throw them in. Give them a free hit. Things must be at breaking point with comments like that.

PC said he had a duty of care to Judge. If he got injured in next few weeks, it could harm his chances of getting a deal somewhere else next season.

It also runs the risk of us paying for his rehabilitation if the worst happens - given our run in the injury world - the worst would inevitably happen.

Does the rule still apply whereby you have to treat a player back to full fitness if they are injured and out of contract? With our history it could be that we don't want to risk it.....

Why doesn’t that apply to the many others playing who will also presumably be looking for a contract at another club?

Why do people keep dragging this idea up? It has been covered many times - the club do not want to trigger an extension nor be responsible for a player possibly injuring himself while playing for them when he is definitely out of the door at season/contract end.

He’s been very disappointing. Obviously his near career ending injury took a lot from his game. It’s a real shame, because he was a really good player.

'It's a shame, he was a real good player' will be the epitaph on the gravestone of the Banter Era.
