I doubt Cook will last the season if we aren't in the top 6, but i'm not sure where you've got that impression from. |

Apart from it wasnt.
He game them ample time to show what they could do. They let him down.. at that point rightfully he made it known he would be getting his own players in.

To be fair, PC makes a hell of a lot of contradictory statements.
We learnt that in a short time.
Lets hope he gets the players he wants and turns things around in the summer. |

Players have had to much protection.
Wilson says to much Lambert tinkering. When you look at league games there wasnt actually that much tinkering. Unless hes talking about when he lost his place....
PC was all nice as pie and hadnt gone into direct PC until the time Wilson was dropped. Seems to be a pattern for when Wilson doesnt like things...
I'll blame PC from day 1 of the new season. It will be his squad of his choosing and we will know we will have players interested in winning and believing in themselves. Unlike as Wilson has admitted thinking they weren't ready. Which explains the lack of effort. | |

That’s not really a reflection on the mindset but more on the reality of the components of the team and how they came (or didn’t come) together. Mindset probably was an aspect in all of this of course.
Headlines are often designed to provoke a reaction rather than act as a fair summary of anything. Frequently they’re not even a fair summary of the article they’re sitting on top of. |  |

I think for me. PC got out of the squad the same amount of points as Lambert did over the same amount of games despite the takeover and players knowing their futures were elsewhere. PC didnt need to tell them we would be looking to bring in players.. our goal stats showed our problems lol. | |

I like that he says that even on paper they weren't good enough. All we heard for a long while was 'on paper our squad is the best in the league'. I don't think even that was true. |
It would have been true if Lambert had been doing his job and been actually coaching, motivating, organising and ensuring they were fit rather than dishing out free beer and talking about Celtic and Dortmund.
There was enough quality there to go on long unbeaten runs at the start of both seasons in division 3.
Trouble is, when other sides achieved true match fitness and gelled, our players had been allowed to coast, lose fitness, been played in multiple formations and systems(or been drilled into an utterly ineffective system) and allegedly go out on the piss and drive home when they should have been working on their fitness. And even if he isn't, it's pretty damning on Lambert that he could neither locate, identify and sign players who WERE despite having the one of the largest, if not the largest budgets in the division or coach and motivate them into being more than the sum of their parts.

And although we have new rich owners who want us in the champ asap I will be sticking with you lot as your stats and performances since I've been here have been so impressive and continues your impressive overall season stats .
