Terrible performance in the first game, bore draw in the second, heavy defeat in the third.
I'll never know why Gilmour and Adams didn't start the first match.

Really? Why are they an awful football nation? From what I saw they gave it a go and imho should have got a result out of the English game.
Then they have players missing through Covid...what's embarrassing about that?
Compared to a side who have an embarrassment of EPL riches and struggled to beat a poor Croatia side and a Czech side who really offered nothing.. Tbh from what I saw tonight you need to be more worried about being embarrassed than Scotland do. |  | | |

Obviously raised their game for the England match but were simply like a fish out of water in the other two games even considering they had "home" advantage.
The Euros was fine with just 16 teams.

Try being an Irish fan...while I would have loved us to be part of the euros equally we would have been hammered and are really crap at the moment.
But lording over Scotland, calling them a disgrace/embarrassment who held England to a draw, have less EPL players and at least gave it a go is out of order imho.
Have England lived up to being the tournament contenders? Maybe concentrate on your own team instead of trashing others.
No wonder your Celtic cousins keep wanting to see you fail if this is your attitude. Good luck in the next round, honestly I haven't seen anything to excite me from the England team.

This is very true. I switched over to enjoy their post match misery and Souness was praising Croatia as not quite the same as the World Cup Final side, but world class, streets ahead of Scotland, something to aim for etc etc. Yet when he was ridiculing England last week, Croatia were basically deadbeats. Make your mind up Graham!
I only saw the highlights of Scotland’s game but from what they said, they got taken to the cleaners. The pundits built them up into world beaters after the Wembley performance and they are not. They are a boring version of North Macedonia. Souness, Collins (smashing players in their day) and the other bonehead who’s name escapes me were very glum. |  | | |

It was predictable - turn up at Wembley, put in a load of effort but then don’t show up against Croatia in the key match. If they played as they had against England they would have had a chance. | |
