For whatever reason there always seems to be players you see playing for other teams that you just have a gut feeling will play for Town at some point in their career....
For me I always thought Paul Goddard would play for us
I also thought David Nuggent would play for us!
The other one that always stuck in my mind was Ryan Shawcross - and still think he could do a job for us at this level.
Anyone else that you were convinced would play for Ipswich at some point!

I'm always baffled that Leroy Lita never played a competitive game for us.
He would have fit perfectly during our 'sign strikers 5 years after they were good' phase. |
